Hi there!
I’m super excited to be able to share a little from my part of the world! I love feedback- emails, comments, anything.
My blog is called Merrily Me because I try to find the joy and happiness around me. Of course (and my family will back me up on this!) I fail many times, but none of us are perfect, especially me. I love seeing a person’s face change from serious to laughing just by a simple little thing that’s said. We can bring so much joy to people’s lives if we realize the potential to encourage through words and actions.
For those of you who aren’t around me all the time (and therefore don’t know too much about me), I’m happy to fill in some details.
Some facts about me:
I am eighteen years old
I am a homeschool graduate
I play the piano and harp
You already know all about our family from my sister’s blog, since I’m assuming that you’ve been over there before. J If not, check it out.
My salvation testimony:
I was saved when I was four years old. I raised my hand during a Sunday school class and was talked to by a lady in the church. I remember how excited I was that I had gotten saved!
Throughout my early teen years, I struggled with assurance of salvation. It was a really hard time for me, having that doubt in my heart. Praise the Lord, I eventually realized that since I had already done what the Bible says is the requirement for salvation (total faith in Christ to take me to Heaven), I needed to stop doubting!
A few of the things I love:
DQ Blizzards
Beef cows
Spontaneous get togethers with friends
Traveling
Foreign languages
Cheesecake
Curly hair
Singing
A good workout
Peanut butter protein shakes
Not to mention my wonderful family and friends!
I hope you enjoy reading about my corner of the world- I’ll keep you posted!
