The wedding is here!
Actually, the wedding has passed. Believe me, we're glad that the couple is safely and happily married, off enjoying a lovely honeymoon (the location of which is a secret closely guarded by some of the country's top agents :) ). It was a crazy, but fun, time, and, as my sleep schedule has finally returned to normal, I can at last fill you in on the details. Some of them, at least. This post can only cover the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, as the actual wedding pictures themselves are still mostly on people's flashcards and thumbdrives (by the way, if you were at the wedding and took pictures, could you please shoot them over our way? Thanks!). Still, all good things come in installments, right?!
So here's a behind-the-scenes look at what happened that fateful Friday! Here's where I include a shout-out to our faithful, inspired photographer, my Aunt Carol Perkins, who flitted hither and yon about the church, snapping away like a benevolent photographing fairy (I don't know what's been up with my metaphors lately!).
Enjoy!

The rehearsal dinner was at Stancatos in Parma. The food? Chicken parmesan, pork medallions, baked cod, garlic smashed potatoes, pasta in red sauce, green beans, and lots of pastries and drinks. Yum! I don't have any stats on how well the bride and groom ate, but they seem pretty contented in this picture.
And that's the way it was in a nutshell. I think we all gained a few pounds at the rehearsal dinner--time for another lap around the park for me! Totally worth it, though. How often does a wedding happen, after all?
You will also note that, in all these pictures, Andrew and Hannah still aren't holding hands or touching. They wanted to save all that for their actual wedding day--which leads me to Part 2.....
Stay tuned for more wedding news!
